IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE EXHIBITOR TO VERIFY THE CORRECTNESS OF ALL POINTS. All corrections and inquiries on points must be made in writing within one show of the public posting.
Points are awarded in each SFHA class on the following basis, regardless of the number of exhibitors in the class:
1st Place = 6 points
2nd Place = 5 points
3rd Place = 4 points
4th Place = 3 points
5th Place = 2 points
6th Place = 1 point
DAILY AND YEAR-END HIGH POINT DIVISION QUALIFICATIONS
Exhibitors must show in at least three classes in the Division(s) except for reining, selected on the entry form, to qualify for daily high point awards. Additionally, to qualify for Year-End and Daily High Points, at least one (1) class in the Division must be ridden. For Daily and Year-End High Points, exhibitors must show the same horse (one horse/one rider). For Year-End awards, with the exception of the Sportsmanship award, exhibitors must show in 50% + one (1) show, to qualify for awards.
To qualify for Year-End Awards members must also complete four (4) SFHA volunteer hours. Volunteer hours may also be purchased at $25.00/hour in lieu of volunteer work, or a family member may complete and donate volunteer hours to the exhibitor.
